DYNASTAR M-TOUR 99 21/22
The Dynastar M-Tour 99 Skis takes the versatile freeride shape of the M-Pro 99 and fills it out with a meticulously curated blend of super light materials to form an excellent free touring option. A paulownia core is used at the heart of the ski to cut weight, and it is reinforced with a layer of basalt fiber and Dynastar s innovating PU hybrid core tech to provide some of the same dampening characteristics of heavier woods. The end product is a ski that rides smooth when driven hard across a variety of surfaces, despite its crazy light weigh-in. This is a great choice for big mountain skiers looking for a versatile backcountry tool that won’t force them to sacrifice downhill performance for uphill ease.
Rocker Type
Directional Rocker – Long tip and tail rocker limited in height. Offering the optimum height-to-length ratio, the ski flies over the powder and keep its grip on hard snow.
Sidecut
Adaptative Sidecut – Adaptative Sidecut offers a smooth transition between the sidecut underfoot and the tip and tail geometry. This technology brings smoothness on hard and powder snow.
Core
Hybrid Paulownia / PU Core – The Polyurethane Hybrid Core technology is combined with a Paulownia Core with a density of 300 g/m3, reducing the ski’s weight by an average of 15 to 20% in comparison to a poplar core.
